LaCie said the drive is drop, crush, and water resistant, making it great for those who want external storage but also don’t want to worry about abusing it.

This 12 TB drive from Western Digital is marketed toward gamers who need to expand the storage capacity of their consoles, but it still works as an external drive for regular use. It’s also a 7200 RPM drive, so it can move files at 250Mb/s for faster access. It’s not cheap, even on sale, though: This drive will cost you $220 on Prime Day.
